Our Children’s Ministry strives to provide children with opportunities to encounter God through Bible study, worship and personal application.
BBC Children’s Ministry is staffed by dedicated and capable adult volunteers who are passionate about helping children become disciples of Jesus Christ and helping them establish a growing relationship with Him. It is our desire to personally love each child that comes to Berea Baptist Church. We understand our role is to assist parents in the spiritual training of their children and allow children to form healthy relationships with Christian adults. BBC Children’s Ministry offers several weekly programs on Sunday mornings (KIDZONE) and Wednesday nights with numerous special events for children and families throughout the year.
VBS is a week of fun and excitement. We learn so many things and have so much fun. We have games, make crafts, learn new songs and eat yummy snacks. There are exciting Bible stories to learn and new friends to make. We learn how important it is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. At the end of the week we get to show friends and family what we have learned. VBS is July 13th through the 18th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Come join us!
Our Wednesday night children’s program is designed to help children learn more about Jesus through music, games, skits, Bible stories, and Scripture memory. We strive to make it a fun time for kids to learn important lessons from God’s Word that they can apply to their everyday lives. All children 1st -5th grade are invited to participate. It is led by Cindy Judd, Libby Hess and Renee Todd. The children meet upstairs in the KidZone room (room #204) and in Ms. Mary Jo’s Sunday School classroom (room #215).
